WHY IT IS IMPORTANT: Buying used or refurbished affords you the option to save money on the product that you desire. Believe it or not, there are some items that are better purchased used. Buying used or refurbished allows you to consider the return on investment for items that you need and or want at an extremely discounted price. Used, refurbished, pre-owned, certified, simply mean that the item is no longer considered brand new. KEY POINT(S): Buying products that are not considered brand new can save you huge percentages. Period. Less than brand new products have warranty or guarantee limitations. Purchase with caution. MY EXPERIENCE: I never used to buy second-hand items for the silly shame that lingered deep inside having and feeling like I couldn’t afford to get what I wanted out of the store. Silly me. I recognize that some of the best deals are on the items I want that are not considered brand new. Now, I shop second hand, used, refurbished, returned, dent and scratch, and I cannot believe the haul I have been able to acquire at a fraction of the cost.
