MY EXPERIENCE: I find meal planning personally from time to time to be work! And sometimes I just can’t find the time to prep my meals for myself or the family for the week. As a result, in the past, we have spent hundreds of dollars monthly on eating out on top of grocery shopping. Hunger makes you impulsive. Meal planning requires time. Currently, I have switched my lifestyle to cut out meat and chicken and find that meal planning allows me to have a more enticing weekly menu not just for myself, but for the family too. The budget is much happier for it!
